To provide education in agriculture, a college called the "Faculty of Agriculture" was established and started as a constituent college in the academic session of 2015–16 to achieve excellence in academics and research in underserved areas of the Raisen district by distributing quality agriculture education. With the approval of the Academic Council and Board of Management of Rabindranath Tagore University, a four-year degree programme was launched in the fall of the 2015–16 academic year. According to the ICAR's guidance, the Faculty of Agriculture has approved the course guidelines and content. The 4th Deans' Committee (ICAR) curriculum and guidelines were approved for the 2015–16 academic year, while the 5th Deans' Committee (ICAR) recommendations began with the 2016–17 academic year.
