Vanmali Srijan Peeth is inspired by the writing journey of Vanmali Ji, an honorary undertaking designed to encourage litterateurs.

Based on the basic premise that rural and tribal creators should get the same exposure as urban creators, the undertaking hosts gatherings, discussions and other literary discourses.

Vanmali Katha Samman

The ‘Vanmali Katha Samman’ is an award established to recognize and celebrate fiction literature that reflects democratic and human values in today’s narrative landscape. This award is dedicated to the memory of a storyteller(Shri Jagganath Prasad Choubey ji) who dedicated his life to upholding these values through literature and actions. The recipient of the award is chosen based on their contributions to Hindi language story and novel literature over a two-year period.
